37.05.01 Clinical Psychology

The educational program is aimed at the formation of competencies of a specialist capable of effectively solving the problems of preservation and restoration of mental health, participate in the diagnosis, correction and rehabilitation of patients with mental, somatic and neurological disorders. Students learn theoretical and applied fundamentals of clinical psychology, neuro- and pathopsychological methods of research, gain experience in counseling, support and psychotherapy. Special attention is paid to interdisciplinary interaction with physicians (psychiatrists, neurologists, therapists) and other specialists of related fields.
