31.08.36 Cardiology
The residency program is aimed at training a cardiologist with competence in the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and medical rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases, including patients with comorbid pathology. The program covers a wide range of pathologies, from common chronic conditions to rare and life-threatening cardiac syndromes. Key areas of training include: - interpretation of ECG results, echocardiography, daily BP and ECG monitoring, stress testing; - application of modern methods of drug and non-drug therapy; - carrying out emergency measures in acute coronary syndromes, rhythm disturbances and heart failure; - participation in primary and secondary prevention programs; - mastering methods of dispensary observation and management of patients in outpatient and inpatient practice. Clinical rotations include cardiology, arrhythmology, functional diagnostic, X-ray endovascular and cardiac surgery departments.
