The residency program is aimed at training a specialist in the field of radiology with professional competence in detecting diseases and injuries of human organs and systems using X-ray radiation and magnetic resonance technologies for early diagnosis, monitoring of the patient's condition and evaluation of the effectiveness of therapy. The program includes mastery of radiology diagnostic techniques with emphasis on safety, clinical validity of studies and the ability to interpret them in an interdisciplinary context. Key areas of training include: Radiodiagnostics: performing radiographic, fluoroscopic and computed tomographic examinations, as well as performing functional and contrast imaging techniques, taking into account the anatomo-physiological features of patients. Magnetic resonance tomography: MR studies using standard and specialized protocols to diagnose pathology of the central nervous system, musculoskeletal system, thoracic and abdominal organs, small pelvis. Clinical interpretation: evaluation of radiation images in comparison with clinical and laboratory data, participation in the formation of diagnostic conclusions and recommendations for clinicians. Radiation safety: strict compliance with regulations and standards of protection from ionizing radiation, optimization of radiation exposure to the patient and medical staff. Participation in the therapeutic and diagnostic process: ensuring the timeliness and reliability of imaging studies as part of the patient's treatment route, consultative work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
