Bioengineering and bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary field of science that integrates biology, engineering, and computer science to solve complex problems in medicine, agriculture, and environmental protection. This specialty studies the principles of bioengineering based on the synthesis of biological, chemical and engineering knowledge, as well as the use of information technology for the analysis and modeling of biological processes. The field of professional activity of the graduate of this specialty is creation, study and application of various biological objects, modified organisms and biomolecules; development of molecular diagnostic methods and search for new drug targets; work with databases on biological objects, building models of interactions between biomolecules, decoding of genomes and many others.
