Development of scientific methodological approaches for research in the field of forensic medicine and training of forensic medical personnel in the system of higher and postgraduate education. 3. study of various causes of death, mechanisms of its onset, dying process, postmortem processes in different types of violent and non-violent death, development of methods for establishing the age of death. 4. study of injuries, mechanisms of their occurrence, DETERMINATION OF DATE, VARIABILITY AND LIFE, methods of research and criteria for forensic evaluation, as well as identification of the trauma weapon by morphological signs of damage, including the use of mathematical modeling. Development of methods of damage visualization for the purposes of investigative and forensic practice. 5. Development of methods of lifetime and postmortem diagnostics of exogenous intoxications and estimation of severity of health damage caused by them. 6. Study of the causes of occurrence, morphogenesis of asphyctic conditions, barotrauma, electrotrauma, radiation trauma, thermal trauma, methods of their lifetime and postmortem diagnostics, assessment of the severity of the health damage caused by them. 7. Studying the causes and morphogenesis of sudden death, improving methods of its diagnosis. 8. Establishing the causes of unfavorable outcomes of medical care. 9. Development of methods of personal identification, including with the use of visualization and digital diagnostics of general group and and individual features. 10. Study of issues arising in investigative and judicial practice in the investigation of sexual offenses and disputed sexual conditions. 11. Development of methods of diagnostics of newborn, prematurity and maturity of the fetus, live birth and viability of the infant, life expectancy of the child after childbirth. 12. Study of material evidence of biological origin using visualization methods for the purposes of investigative and judicial practice. 13. Development of forensic techniques used in the examination of the scene of the accident and the corpse at the place of its discovery. 14. Improvement of forensic medical examination of corpses and living persons, expertise on materials of investigative and judicial cases in order to solve the issues of law enforcement agencies, including cases of unfavorable outcomes in the provision of medical care.
