3.2.7 Immunology
1. Fundamental research devoted to the study of the structure and functioning of the immune system, its onto- and phylogenesis. 2. study of the mechanisms of innate and adaptive immunity in norm and pathology. 3. Study of molecular and cellular bases of antibacterial, antiviral, antitumor, antifungal, antiparasitic immune defense. 4. study of the role of immune mechanisms in various physiological processes (regeneration, reproduction, aging, neuroendocrine interactions, interaction with the microbiome, etc.). 5. Study of the pathogenesis of immune-mediated (allergies, primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, autoimmune diseases) and other diseases. 6. Development and improvement of methods of diagnostics, treatment and prevention of infectious, allergic and other immunopathologic processes. 7. Development of methods of influence on the immune system with the help of pharmacological drugs and methods of immunobiotherapy. Investigation of the effectiveness and safety of these effects. 8. Design and creation of optimal mathematical models of the immune system functioning. 9. Development and improvement of methods for assessing the quality of post-infection and post-vaccine immunity, effectiveness and safety of new vaccine preparations.
