1. Study of physiological regularities and pathological deviations, growth, physical, sexual, neuropsychiatric and cognitive development, the state of functional systems of children in different periods of life: intrauterine period, newborn, early, preschool and school age. 2. Improvement of technologies of feeding / nutrition, nutritive, micronutrient support (including taking into account the microbiome), healthy, children with special needs, before and after surgery / transplantation, in conditions of intensive therapeutic / resuscitation support. 3 Optimization of research approaches and practical principles of management - diagnosis, prevention, treatment, habilitation and rehabilitation, as well as support of children with chronic recurrent diseases, acute pathology, exposed to external factors, including environmental and social. Formation of models and parameters for assessing patient management and approaches to auditing the implemented scope of interventions and the quality of medical activities. 4. Improvement of scientific, methodological and organizational principles of immunoprophylaxis, including active and passive immunization of healthy children and pediatric patients with special needs. 5. Development of scientific, methodological and practical approaches to the management of children with congenital malformations, hereditary diseases and metabolic disorders. 6. Improvement of theoretical, methodological and organizational approaches to ensuring the special needs of disabled children. 7. Development of methods and systems for monitoring, analysis, digitalization of the processes of forecasting/modeling of changes in the state of children's health using artificial intelligence and neural networks. 8. Investigation of the problems of professional training, evaluation and professional development, determination of human resources potential and needs to provide quality solutions to the problem of children's health protection and development of pediatric medical science. 9. Study of the prevalence and peculiarities of the course of diseases in children, improvement of technologies of their prevention and treatment in the indigenous and native population in the Far North and equated areas. 10. Studying the peculiarities of formation, preservation and restoration of health of children and adolescents living in unfavorable environmental conditions, including the Far North and equated areas, including taking into account their ethnicity.
