1. In-depth study of etiology, pathogenesis and prevalence of surgical diseases and conditions requiring the application of plastic surgery methods and techniques. 2. Development of new and improved methods of diagnostics, surgical correction and prevention of congenital deformities and related functional disorders in the head and neck region in children and adults. 3. 3. Development of new, improved methods of diagnostics, surgical correction and prophylaxis of traumas and post-traumatic deformations in the head and neck region in children and adults; as well as those resulting from diseases and surgical interventions aimed at the treatment of one or another pathology in the head and neck region in children and adults. 4. Development of new, improved methods of diagnostics, surgical correction and prevention of congenital pathology, traumas and post-traumatic deformities, as well as deformities resulting from diseases and surgical interventions aimed at the treatment of one or another pathology in the thoracic region in children and adults. 5. Development of new and improved methods of diagnostics, surgical correction and restoration of the mammary gland\ glands resulting from the loss of the organ due to oncologic diseases and related operations, as well as traumas and other medical interventions. 6. Development of new, improved methods of diagnostics, surgical correction and prevention of congenital pathology, traumas and post-traumatic deformities, as well as deformities resulting from diseases and surgical interventions aimed at the treatment of one or another pathology in the limb area in children and adults. 7. Development of new and improved methods of diagnostics, surgical correction and prevention of congenital pathology, traumas and post-traumatic deformities, as well as deformities resulting from diseases and surgical interventions aimed at the treatment of one or another pathology in the urogenital region in children and adults. 8. Development of new, improved methods of diagnostics and surgical correction aimed at sex change associated with the presence of nuclear transsexualism in the patient. 9. Development, experimental substantiation and clinical approbation of new surgical technologies, including the use of thermal/diathermal, radiation, ultrasound, plasma and laser effects on tissues. 13. Development, experimental study and clinical approbation of polymeric medical devices for use in various sections of plastic surgery. 14. Generalization of international experience in separate countries, different schools of plastic surgery. 15. Experimental and clinical development of methods of treatment of diseases and conditions requiring the use of methods and techniques of plastic surgery and their introduction into clinical practice. 16. Improvement of methods of dispenserization and prophylaxis of diseases and conditions requiring the application of methods and techniques of plastic surgery. 17. Creation and development of interdisciplinary directions, links and research between plastic surgery and related specialties: surgery, thoracic surgery, traumatology and orthopedics, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, maxillofacial surgery, otorhinolaryngology, regenerative medicine and cosmetology.
