Study of various aspects of the existence of parasitic organisms; Study of the biological essence of parasitism, regularities of interaction between parasites and their host as the main habitat; Study of the fauna of parasitic organisms, the formation of their ranges, patterns of geographical distribution of parasites, including for pathogens of parasitic diseases of humans, animals and plants; Study of micro- and macro-evolution of parasites, construction of their phylogeny, classification, systematics and taxonomy of parasitic organisms on the basis of morphological, molecular-genetic, biochemical and other features; Study of life cycles of parasitic organisms.
