44.04.03 Special (Defictology) Education

The program is aimed at training Masters in speech therapy, specializing in the correction and restoration of speech function in individuals with various nosological forms of disorders. The training combines fundamental theoretical knowledge with practical skills necessary to solve both scientific and clinical problems related to the diagnosis and therapy of speech disorders in children and adults. Emphasis is placed on developing a professional mindset focused on a comprehensive and individualized approach to the restoration of speech function. Within the framework of the program, master's students study not only profile disciplines, but also such courses as “Anatomy and age physiology of the CNS”, “Neurogenic disorders of movement and sensitivity”, “Physiology of sensorimotor activity”, “Myofunctional therapy”, which ensures their integration into the medical environment and readiness for interdisciplinary interaction.
