39.04.02 Social Work

The program is aimed at training specialists capable of effectively providing assistance to socially vulnerable categories of citizens and people in difficult life situations. The training provides knowledge and skills in planning, organization, control and provision of social services, social support measures and state social assistance, as well as the development of modern forms of social services. Particular attention is paid to mastering approaches aimed at the restoration and development of internal and external human resources, assistance in overcoming crisis states, expanding the possibilities of life activity and building a productive interaction of the individual with the social environment. Graduates of the program are ready for professional activity in the system of social protection, medical and educational institutions, NGOs and other structures working with vulnerable groups of population.
