39.04.01 Sociology
The Master's program is aimed at training specialists in the field of sociology of medicine with the knowledge necessary to analyze modern social processes in health care, and confident in digital technologies and modern methods of collecting, processing and interpreting medical and sociological information. The program combines in-depth theoretical training with practice-oriented learning and is aimed at developing competencies in the sociology of medicine, health care organization and public health. Particular attention is paid to mastering both classical and innovative methods of sociological research, allowing to analyze a wide range of problems - from the perception of disease and patient's interaction with the health care system to the study of social consequences of reforms and digitalization of medicine.
