The residency program is aimed at training a dentist in maxillofacial surgery capable of providing qualified medical care for pathologies of the facial skeleton and soft tissues of the head and neck. The program covers the prevention, diagnosis, surgical treatment and medical rehabilitation of patients with diseases, injuries and anomalies of the maxillofacial region. Key areas of training include: performing surgeries for facial skeletal injuries, odontogenic inflammations, tumors and congenital anomalies; mastering methods of osteosynthesis, bone grafting, soft and hard tissue reconstruction; management of patients at all stages of surgical treatment, including preoperative preparation and postoperative rehabilitation; interaction with doctors of related specialties (otorhinolaryngologists, neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons) within the framework of complex treatment.
