31.08.65 Thoracic surgery

The residency program is aimed at training a thoracic surgeon who provides care to patients with diseases of the thoracic cavity requiring surgical intervention. The program is focused on the formation of competencies in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of thoracic patients. Key areas of training include: performing surgical interventions on the lungs, pleura, mediastinum, chest wall and trachea; Participating in the diagnosis and treatment of oncologic, inflammatory and traumatic diseases; application of minimally invasive and video-assisted techniques (VATS); participation in postoperative rehabilitation and complication prevention programs.
