31.08.61 Radiotheraphy
The residency program is aimed at training a radiologist who is proficient in the methods of diagnosing diseases using physical phenomena and radiation - X-ray, gamma- and radioisotope, magnetic resonance and positron emission tomography. The program covers the principles of imaging anatomy and pathology of organs and systems, and the application of radioactive substances in diagnosis and treatment. Key areas of training include: the performance and interpretation of CT, MRI, scintigraphy, PET/CT; diagnosis of tumor, inflammatory, traumatic, and vascular changes; ensuring radiation safety and imaging quality control; participation in multidisciplinary consultations and radionuclide therapy planning.
