31.08.59 Ophthalmology
The residency is aimed at training an ophthalmologist capable of providing specialized care for diseases of the visual organ. The program covers the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a wide range of ophthalmic diseases, as well as participation in the rehabilitation of patients with visual impairment. Key areas of training include: Use of ophthalmoscopy, biomicroscopy, perimetry, tonometry, ultrasonography and laser diagnosis; management of patients with glaucoma, cataracts, inflammatory, vascular and degenerative eye diseases; performing microsurgical and laser interventions; participation in the prevention of complications, vision correction and restoration of visual function.
