31.08.57 Oncology
The residency program is aimed at training an oncologist capable of providing comprehensive medical care to patients with cancer. The program covers all stages of cancer patient management, from prevention and early diagnosis to treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care. Key areas of training include: performing the examination and interpreting the results of imaging, morphologic, and laboratory techniques; prescribing and supervising chemotherapy, targeted, immune and radiation therapies; participation in multidisciplinary oncologic consiliums; organizing palliative support and medical rehabilitation of patients with oncological profile; providing assistance to patients at all stages of the disease, including terminal stages.
