31.08.55 Coloproctology
The residency program is aimed at training a coloproctologist who knows modern methods of diagnostics, treatment and prevention of diseases of the colon and rectum, anal canal, pelvic floor and perineum. The program is focused on providing specialized medical care to patients with benign and malignant neoplasms, inflammatory and functional bowel diseases. Key areas of training include: performing endoscopic, imaging and laboratory investigations; surgical interventions, including minimally invasive techniques; management of patients in the pre- and postoperative period; organization of measures for medical rehabilitation and prevention of complications; participation in oncologic consiliums and interdisciplinary work in complex clinical cases.
