The residency is aimed at training an osteopathic physician who is proficient in diagnosing and correcting reversible functional disorders of the body based on the principles of biomechanics and holistic approach. The program is focused on restoring somatic balance and normalizing the patient's regulatory mechanisms. Key areas of training include: Application of visceral, cranial and structural osteopathic techniques; participation in comprehensive prevention and medical rehabilitation programs; detection of functional disorders at early stages of the pathologic process; integration of osteopathic approach into interdisciplinary practice.
