31.08.48 Emergency medical service

The residency is designed to prepare an emergency physician capable of promptly providing emergency and critical care in a variety of settings, including the pre-hospital phase. The program covers a wide range of conditions requiring urgent intervention, from trauma and acute illness to poisoning and emergencies. Key areas of training include: Performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, antishock and analgesic measures; diagnosing and stabilizing life-threatening conditions; transportation of patients in compliance with the principles of safety and continuity of care; interaction with other medical services during mass admissions and disasters.
