31.08.45 Pulmonology
The residency program is aimed at training a pulmonologist who is familiar with modern methods of diagnosis, treatment and medical rehabilitation of patients with respiratory diseases. The program covers the entire spectrum of bronchopulmonary pathology, including severe and rare diseases, as well as conditions requiring palliative care. Key areas of training include: interpretation of pulmonary functional diagnostic data (spirometry, bodiplasmography), blood gas analysis, radiologic and tomographic studies; application of modern pharmacologic and non-medicamentous methods of therapy; management of patients with chronic respiratory insufficiency, pulmonary rehabilitation; medical expertise of working capacity and participation in multidisciplinary clinical consiliums.
