31.08.31 Geriatrics

The residency program is aimed at training a geriatrician with competencies in providing medical care to elderly and elderly patients with geriatric syndromes, chronic diseases and functional impairments. The program provides the development of knowledge of age-related changes, principles of comprehensive assessment, and team-based patient management. Key areas of training include: - managing patients with cognitive, motor, and metabolic disorders; - conducting functional diagnostics and self-care activities; - implementation of medical and social rehabilitation programs, prevention of senile asthenia syndrome.
