The residency program is aimed at training a specialist in the field of diving medicine with professional competencies in health assessment, medical selection and support of persons working in hyperbaric conditions and aquatic environment. The program provides mastery of the theoretical foundations of diving physiology, hyperbaric effects, and clinical and preventive measures aimed at ensuring the safety of divers and caissoners. Key areas of training include: - conducting diving clearances, dynamic medical surveillance of personnel; - diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic occupational diseases, including decompression sickness; - training in safe diving and first aid; - participation in organization of medical support for diving and hyperbaric oxygenation.
