31.08.26 Allergology and Immunology
The residency program is aimed at training an allergist-immunologist with competence in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of allergic diseases and immunodeficiency states in children and adults, including patients with comorbid pathology. The program includes mastering modern methods of clinical and laboratory diagnostics, functional testing and complex pathogenetically based treatment, in accordance with current clinical recommendations and standards of medical care. Key areas of training include: Diagnostic activities: skin scarification, prick and intradermal tests with allergens, provocative (nasal, sublingual, conjunctival) tests, external respiratory function testing, including pycfloumetry and spirometry. Therapy: prescription of drugs (antihistamine, hormonal, immunomodulatory), allergen-specific immunotherapy (ASIT), therapeutic nutrition and medical devices in accordance with clinical recommendations. Prevention: development of individual and population programs to prevent exacerbations of allergic diseases, management of patients with polyvalent sensitization and complex comorbid structure. Immunology: diagnosis and management of patients with primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, monitoring of immune status, selection of immunotherapy. Effectiveness monitoring: dynamic follow-up, evaluation of treatment results, participation in the management of complex clinical cases as part of an interdisciplinary team.
