31.08.17 Pediatric endocrinology
The residency is aimed at training a qualified pediatric endocrinologist with a system of universal and professional competencies necessary for independent clinical activity in primary, specialized (including high-tech), emergency and palliative care. The program provides the formation of fundamental knowledge in the field of hormonal regulation and metabolism in childhood, clinical thinking and practical skills for the management of patients with endocrine pathology of varying complexity, including rare and hereditary diseases. Key areas of training include: Prevention and surveillance: identifying risk factors and early manifestations of endocrine disorders, participating in screening programs, and conducting dispensary follow-up of children with chronic endocrine diseases. Diagnosis: use of laboratory, instrumental and imaging methods to assess the function of the endocrine system, conducting functional tests, interpretation of the results of hormonal studies. Treatment and rehabilitation: development of individual schemes of drug therapy, including the use of insulin therapy, hormone replacement therapy, participation in the stage medical rehabilitation of patients with disorders of growth, sexual development, metabolism. Emergency care: providing emergency medical care for life-threatening conditions such as diabetic ketoacidosis, hypoglycemia, acute disorders of water-electrolyte metabolism and other complications of endocrine diseases. Innovative technologies: development and implementation of modern digital solutions (continuous glucose monitoring systems, telemedicine), participation in the formation of personalized approaches to patient management.
