31.08.15 Pediatric urology-andrology
The residency is aimed at training a specialist in pediatric urology-andrology with professional competencies in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital and acquired diseases of the genitourinary system in children, including pathology of external genitalia, developmental disorders and functioning of the reproductive and urinary systems. The program is aimed at the formation of the doctor's clinical thinking skills, knowledge of modern diagnostic methods (including radiation and functional), as well as therapeutic and surgical technologies used in pediatric urological practice. Key areas of training include: Diagnosis of urogenital pathology: use of clinical, laboratory, ultrasound, radiologic and magnetic resonance techniques to detect developmental anomalies, inflammatory, obstructive and oncologic diseases. Conservative and surgical treatment: medical care for children with urological pathology, including drug therapy, minimally invasive interventions and reconstructive surgeries, taking into account age-related anatomical and physiological features. Prevention: preventive examinations, identification and correction of risk factors for chronic pathology of genitourinary organs, participation in dispensary surveillance programs. Andrological support: diagnosis and correction of disorders of sexual development, management of children and adolescents with andrological disorders, preparation for transition to adult urological service. Interdisciplinary collaboration: collaboration with pediatricians, nephrologists, surgeons, endocrinologists, psychologists and other specialists for comprehensive patient management.
