Pediatric cardiology is aimed at the formation of a highly qualified pediatric cardiologist, who fully possesses and can apply in professional activity a set of universal and professional competencies; capable and ready to carry out independent professional activity in the conditions of primary health care, specialized, including high-tech, medical care, emergency, including specialized, medical care, palliative care. In the process of training the formation of basic and fundamental medical knowledge is carried out, training of a pediatric cardiologist with clinical thinking, well oriented in complex cardiac pathology, with in-depth knowledge of related disciplines. The training is aimed at the formation of skills in mastering the latest technologies, including digital, and techniques in the field of professional interests of pediatric cardiologist. Training of pediatric cardiologist is aimed at the formation of competence in prevention, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation of pediatric cardiac patients, as well as the implementation of emergency measures in the most common life-threatening conditions encountered in childhood.
