31.08.11 Ultrasound diagnostics

Residency is aimed at training a qualified physician-ultrasound diagnostician, possessing universal, professional and specialized competencies necessary for independent ultrasound studies in various conditions of medical care: primary health care, specialized (including high-tech), emergency (including specialized), as well as palliative care. The program provides the formation of sustainable practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for the interpretation of ultrasound data, making diagnostic decisions and ensuring the continuity of the treatment and diagnostic process. Key areas of training include: Diagnostic activity: performing ultrasound examinations of organs and systems using various modes (B-mode, Dopplerography, elastography, etc.), including emergency and screening examinations. Clinical interpretation: analysis and interpretation of ultrasound images in the context of the clinical picture, providing diagnostic conclusions, consultative interaction with physicians of related specialties. Prevention and early diagnosis: participation in preventive examinations, screening programs, dynamic follow-up of patients with chronic diseases. Participation in emergency and palliative care: use of ultrasound techniques in emergency care settings, including trauma, acute conditions and life-threatening situations, as well as in the support of patients with advanced chronic diseases. Technical support and quality control: adherence to safety standards, ensuring ultrasound equipment is in good condition, and maintaining records and documentation.
