31.08.07 Pathological anatomy
The residency program is aimed at training a highly qualified pathologist with universal and professional competencies necessary for independent pathological anatomical research within the framework of clinical, expert and scientific activities. The program covers theoretical and practical training to ensure mastery of modern methods of macro- and microscopic analysis, morphological diagnosis, and maintenance of relevant medical documentation. Key areas of training include: Pathological and anatomical research: conducting autopsies of the dead, establishing causes of death, identifying diseases and pathological conditions not diagnosed during life, with drawing conclusions in accordance with regulatory requirements. Histological and cytological diagnostics: preparation and analysis of biopsy and surgical material using light, immunohistochemical and, if necessary, molecular microscopy to verify the diagnosis. Expert activity: participation in interdisciplinary commissions, conducting pathologoanatomic conferences, drawing up expert opinions on medical cases. Clinical interaction: providing feedback between morphological and clinical diagnostics, participation in the analysis of diagnostic errors, development of recommendations to improve clinical practice. Scientific, methodological and educational activities: participation in the development of pathomorphologic service, implementation of modern standards and technologies, work with clinical and educational centers.
